This IS Global Warming

Night San Francisco

Clean up the air as much as you want, but trapped heat is only AN EFFECT. The cause is heat generation and there is all sorts, but the worst offender are the cities and the extravagant use of lights . . . . lights to highlight buildings and bridges for one thing. There is necessary lighting like street lights and indoor lighting. But the more you use, the greater the load on generation and the more heat caused.

Cities act as heat islands that change weather patterns, also.

Cutting down on heat generation is A MUST, along with re-planting trees to soak up the CO2 so many people worry about. The use of wood needs to be stopped and replaced.

Want to clean up the air NOW? Drive fuel cell cars . . . . not only do they generate their own power unlike EV cars, they EAT pollution and reduce it NOW! EV cars just transfer the heat and pollution problem to central power plants that have to generate more power, and more heat, to charge EV cars.

The problem with global warming is not in the air, it is AT YOUR FEET! Cities need to be torn apart and re-done with more open space and trees. It will cost a lot and won’t happen quickly. But nature will solve the problem if people don’t by getting rid of people – ALL THE PEOPLE.

To date, the solutions offered have been shortsighted, self-serving and based on greed – even the environmental faction lining their pockets with grant money for their pet projects. There is nothing more pathetic then a research scientist drooling over funding or anything more vicious then a research scientist protecting their funding.

Honest science, inclusive of all views, with all options on the table based on the common good and not self-interest. Don’t forget that the people today crying about global warming are the ones in the 70’s crying about a new ice age. Bring honesty back to science and fix the problem RIGHT!

We’ve all heard the phrase, “I’m neutral” or a country announcing it’s neutrality. There is no such thing. Anything you don’t actively oppose you are passively supporting. Think that is a bunch of BS? Consider an act of personal violence being committed. If you don’t step in and stop it then you’re allowing it to continue. Sure, you’d be right to worry about getting hurt, but by allowing that one act to continue you say that such violence is acceptable to you. I’m not saying that you say it’s ok, just that you’re neutral and that you passively support such violence to protect yourself.

There are only two choices, oppose or support – even in war. In a war zone people will say they are civilians to escape the violence. No such thing as civilians, just non-combatants that either actively support the war effort through manufacturing or farming. There are only combatants, those actively engaged in fighting, and non-combatants, those that support the war effort. There are those claim civilian status and try and live normal lives, but they are supporting it by not opposing it. No civilians there. Those that flee a war ARE opposing it because they contribute nothing to the war effort. But again they are just non-combatants.

So when you step up and claim neutrality and try to live a normal life, consider the deeper implications of what you are saying.

Extremist left-wing ideology – You have it, I want it, you have to give it to me, that’s only fair. But as the giver you turn around and use the same argument it is, no way, you gave it away and it’s mine fair and square. And if another person asks for whatever it is, its’ “no way, I got it fair and square, you go get yours,” which fails to acknowledge that the person asking is trying to get theirs.

It should be observed that “fair”, in the first case, only applies to the person seeking the item. The giver is not entitled to any fairness, a quid pro quo, as in a fair and equal trade. I give you this and you give me that.

Right-wing ideology – no one is entitled to tell me what to do, but I can tell you what to do with your body. This is an extension of NIMBY (not in my backyard) which applies to everyone. It’s good enough to make rules and laws for other people, but of course, the rule makers are exempt.

Again, there is no “fairness”, no trade, no quid pro quo. When a person says that something is “unfair”, that is just another way of saying “I’m not getting my way” just like a child would say it when they have to go to bed and the parents stay up to watch TV.

In both cases it is a basic violation of civil rights and true fairness. It is civil rights for everyone all the time or it eventually leads to chaos and anarchy – and in the final stage – civil war. Think I’m crazy? Just look around you at the world today. And no country is exempt from that happening, not even, and especially the US where standards and expectations are higher

There are currently two extremes in the US – one that wants to create a socialist state and another that wants a capitalist state and there is no room for compromise because compromise is seen as capitulation rather then working for the common good of all. This is what breeds civil wars. My way or the highway and one side or the other will stand up and fight. That’s the American Way
