Immigrants: No Vacancy

Due to political, economic and cultural changes, countries are hanging out the “no vacancy” sign for would be immigrants. 

In Europe it is a rising sense of nationalism and economics that this article gives a sense of. The economics is that “natives” are losing jobs to immigrants that will work for less. The nationalism is that the native genotype is either being swamped by new ethic groups or the birth rate for natives is not keeping up with the death rate. The lesson of Kosovo and the breakaway provinces of Georgia is not lost on anyone facing an immigrant teal wave

The countries being swamped by immigrants are seeing their culture mutate into something they don’t recognize and don’t like. But for Europe they are in-between a rock and a hard place. The native genotype is diminishing and to be able to staff businesses and maintain their manufacturing base, they need immigrants they don’t want.

In the United States the problem is the American Dream and just what it means and if it’s still viable. My answer to that is “no”. The American Dream was built on the availability of land and to be able to put a person’s old life behind them and start over. 

The land, intended for farming and ranching, is no longer available like it was. The federal govt made land available for free to populate the nation. Now you have to buy it from whoever owns the land and what land is designated as federal land is basically off-limits. And most of the immigrants head for the cities, not farms and ranches, where the only thing they can do is get a job, not ownership.

The ability to start over is over. It use to be you could change your name and assume a new identity and get lost in the vastness of the nation. There’s too many people for that now. And with modern technology, you bring your past with you.

The planet has no place for immigrants to go now. People are going to have to realize that they have to fix the problems of where they are rather trying to find something new.

And the world has to see that immigrants are creating a new right-wing political push that does not bode well for anyone. Fascism is on the rise in Europe again and it’s not just one country this time, it’s the whole of Europe. And if it fully develops, the Russians will take steps

Democrats hate the Tea Party for a variety of reasons. But without Pres Obama the Tea Party wouldn’t exist. So where does the responsibility lie? And the only thing that keeps the Tea Party going is Pres Obama and the Democrats that favor the president. Remove what the Tea Party is fighting and you remove the Tea Party

The where doesn’t matter. It’s something everyone needs to think about – what the cost is of something you want.

There is one way for free healthcare is that if everything else is free, as in you have to work, but you don’t get paid for it. The question then becomes “why work?” No work and everything falls apart, then you need the guns to hunt for dinner . . . . and no free healthcare because there wouldn’t be any healthcare. We would devolve into nomadic tribes depending on a shaman waving beads over us to cure our ills . . . . after 90% of the world’s population was wiped out by the de-evolution.

Everything is a choice, everything has a cost. Choose! You, your family, your children, your home, your comfort or treading north in summer and south in winter just like migratory birds. Who will you kill to have “free” healthcare. 

The saying is money is root of all evil, it isn’t. It is just one of the effects. The cause, the root, is survival – the desire to go on living


Why have Obamacare?

I had posed the question, why do we have Obamacare? Why couldn’t Medicare/Medicaid be expanded? Now I have an answer

Well, I have done it! I have read the entire text of proposed House Bill 3200: The Affordable Health Care Choices Act of 2009. I studied it with particular emphasis from my area of expertise, constitutional law. I was frankly concerned that parts of the proposed law that were being discussed might be unconstitutional.

What I found was far worse than what I had heard or expected.

To begin with, much of what has been said about the law and its implications is in fact true, despite what the Democrats and the media are saying. The law does provide for rationing of health care, particularly where senior citizens and other classes of citizens are involved, free health care for illegal immigrants, free abortion services, and probably forced participation in abortions by members of the medical profession.

The Bill will also eventually force private insurance companies out of business,and put everyone into a government run system. All decisions about personal health care will ultimately be made by federal bureaucrats, and most of them will not be health care professionals. Hospital admissions, payments to physicians, and allocations of necessary medical devices will be strictly controlled by the government.

However, as scary as all of that is, it just scratches the surface. In fact, I have concluded that this legislation really has no intention of providing affordable health care choices. Instead it is a convenient cover for the most massive transfer of power to the Executive Branch of government that has ever occurred,or even been contemplated. If this law or a similar one is adopted, major portions of the Constitution of the United States will effectively have been destroyed.

The first thing to go will be the masterfully crafted balance of power between the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches of the U.S. Government. The Congress will be transferring to the Obama Administration authority in a number of different areas over the lives of the American people, and the businesses they own.

The irony is that the Congress doesn’t have any authority to legislate in most of those areas to begin with! I defy anyone to read the text of the U.S. Constitution and find any authority granted to the members of Congress to regulate health care.

This legislation also provides for access, by the appointees of the Obama administration, of all of your personal healthcare a direct violation of the specific provisions of the 4th Amendment to the Constitution, information, your personal financial information, and the information of your employer, physician, and hospital. All of this is a protecting against unreasonable searches and seizures. You can also forget about the right to privacy. That will have been legislated into oblivion regardless of what the 3rd and 4th Amendments may provide.

If you decide not to have healthcare insurance, or if you have private insurance that is not deemed acceptable to the Health Choices Administrator appointed by Obama, there will be a tax imposed on you. It is called a tax instead of a fine because of the intent to avoid application of the due process clause of the 5th Amendment. However , that doesn’t work because since there is nothing in the law that allows you to contest or appeal the imposition of the tax, it is definitely depriving someone of property without the due process of law.

So, there are three of those pesky amendments that the far left hate so much, out the original ten in the Bill of Rights, that are effectively nullified by this law. It doesn’t stop there though.

The 9th Amendment that provides: The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people;

The 10th Amendment states: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are preserved to the States respectively, or to the people. Under the provisions of this piece of Congressional handiwork neither the people nor the states are going to have any rights or powers at all in many areas that once were theirs to control.

I could write many more pages about this legislation, but I think you get the idea. This is not about health care; it is about seizing power and limiting rights. Article 6 of the Constitution requires the members of both houses of Congress to “be bound by oath or affirmation to support the Constitution.” If I was a member of Congress I would not be able to vote for this legislation or anything like it, without feeling I was violating that sacred oath or affirmation. If I voted for it anyway, I would hope the American people would hold me accountable.

For those who might doubt the nature of this threat, I suggest they consult the source, the U.S. Constitution, and Bill of Rights. There you can see exactly what we are about to have taken from us.

Any law can be overturned

Any law can be overturned, even Constitutional amendments. Remember slavery and prohibition? But supporters of Obamacare don’t want you thinking that way.

Two things supporters of OCare keep citing:

1) It’s the law of the land and approved the Supreme Court. Slavery was the law of the land (written by democrats) and approved by the Supreme Court.

Just because something is a law doesn’t make it a good law

2) A minority shouldn’t be able to eliminate OCare.

Blacks, a minority, eliminated segregation, a majority law

So what is so sacred about Obamacare that expanding Medicare/Medicaid couldn’t have worked just as well? Money? The payroll tax could of been expanded, and add taxes like the tax on medical equipment, a NET tax, not gross profits.

For those so devoutly embracing Obamacare, you’ve been cheated

America could’ve had everything Obamacare is only just offering now without job losses, escalating healthcare costs and no FORCIBLE conscription of every American citizen

Obama himself has alluded to cuts in health care down the road to keep OCare solvent with increasing costs and cuts in care. When it comes back around it won’t be anyone’s fault other then Obama and his devout supporters of OCare that didn’t ask questions

The single biggest question for Obama – “why didn’t you expand Medicare/Medicaid 4 yrs ago and give us the care then you’re promising now?”

The really stupid thing is the medicare/medicaid registration works NOW and works well. No glitches, no hassles and every state has it’s mechanism in place to quickly move people through the system. That is the ONLY part of Obamacare that does WORK, the expansion of Medicare because it DOES NOT rely on the federal government, but on state governments. Once again the states show up Obama and his lack of experience.

I poised points 1 & 2 to a liberal and he can’t answer those two points without resorting to rhetoric. He’s one of the devout and I respect him for that just as I would any devout religious person. When in desperate times, all the devout have is blind faith and their belief all will work out and you can’t shake that faith with facts and numbers, they have to learn for themselves

But not to stand up and point out the holes in their beliefs is not what a friend does. A friend tells a friend they are wrong, why they are wrong and the consequences. That is simply disloyal otherwise.

When you speak up and tell a friend something they don’t want to hear, loosing friends happen and their friends, who agree with their point of view, will shun you.

I made the choice, don’t hold anyone else accountable and accept the consequences

America could’ve had everything Obama promised 4 years ago, faster, reliably and be cost effective. If I was an Obamacare recipient, I’d be camping out in front of the White House asking why

The nation should take care of the impoverished to help pull them back up. Willam Ayers described America as a “mean” country. I describe the Dems as mean for having not made the changes 4 yrs ago when the country needed it even worse then now. They were self-absorbed, self-centered ego driven maniacs who were heartless and cruel to make so many wait – and die – just so they could have their name on a piece of paper

That is not what a good steward does. In a business when you don’t take of your people, they rightfully organize into unions. Our union – Congress – failed us and we need to get a new union to represent us, the American people

I tend to confuse a lot of people because I refuse to be categorized, labeled and filed away as some sociological grouping. I am not a race, gender, religion or sexual preference (though any position is good).

I am so conservative, I am liberal but I am an anti-authoritarian anarchist with good reason. Why should anyone tell us how to live our lives if we are responsible and exercise common sense and common courtesy.

I believe in abortion through the first five months without exception on the basis of individual rights. If you can’t make up your mind in 5 months, maybe you’re trying to tell yourself something. But I believe that it takes two to make a baby and the father should get a say and if he jumps in, he bears at least part of the cost unless the father wants full custody and is willing to bear the full cost. If the father says no, or runs out on the mother, the father abrogates all rights.

And you can’t go around telling a woman on welfare or otherwise poverty stricken that “no” you can’t have an abortion and then walk away and leave her and her baby to fend for themselves and say “no” you can’t have welfare. Then have that child grow up and become a criminal and then complain about the crime rate.

That is wholly irresponsible and hypocritical. It’s about responsibility and the Congressional Dems and Pres. Obama have shown none, just temper tantrums that would make a 13 yr old proud.

I agree with liberals, the ones that give of themselves, that we can help the helpless and do it responsibly, reasonably and quickly and we could’ve done it years ago

Mr. President, why didn’t you expand, not fix something that wasn’t broke, 4 yrs ago. If I could, I’d hold you criminally liable for nonfeasance, misfeasance and malfeasance

How Revolutions Begin

Revolutions don’t begin with big things, it’s small things done over time. It becomes like a steam engine that has no relief valve and finally explodes in frustration, not planned action. Or at least not thought through action, like the Boston Tea Party. The BTP wasn’t about independence from England. It was about getting the Crown to listen to grievances and address them. The Crown didn’t and you know what the rest of it.

What is not commonly known is the King was incapacitated. Is it speculated he suffered the blood disease porphyria, which at the time baffled his doctors and caused bouts of mental illness that eventually became permanent. So the colonies were dealing with a deranged tyrant who relied on advisors for the most part till re was removed from power and a regency established. These advisors were human, some well-meaning, some self-centered and pulled England in different directions and involved England in all sorts of conflicts around the world.

Now we have a ruler, Barack Obama, who relies greatly on advisors because he lacks experience and seems to prefer avoiding being Presidential. He has twice been given a chance to show grace, humanity and being Presidential towards his subjects, the American people. Each time he has said, “make it hurt”. This ranks right up there with Marie Antoinette saying, “let them eat cake”. Pres. Obama would be well advised what that led to.

But Pres Obama has done America a big favor. Hubris has set in and people have lost the sense of what is important and Pres Obama is helping people focus once again on the base values. This is wholly unintentional just like George III and his advisors did for the colonies and the revolution.

Small things, good and bad are happening that are bringing people together even through Pres Obama seems to be trying to divide and conquer. Allowing illegal immigrants into the National mall while closing it to legal citizens is not only stupid, it lacks fair play.

A small thing, when people begin to say, “NO! We aren’t going to take it anymore” have begun here and there. One example is a restaurant owner telling the federal government that he won’t accept their arbitrary and capricious shutdown of national parks and historic sites.

Barack Obama is going to be remembered as America remembers King George III, a tyrant. And as crazy as a loon.

 The revolution for “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness” to be free of an oppressive government, to come together as a nation with civil rights for all, all of the time, has been sold out.

The Revolution has started and only those that support the “Nannystate” are the oppressors this time. This time, they are THE MAN
